The Platte River SCI Chapter supports organizations that align with our mission and guiding principles. We welcome our members to submit information on organizations they recommend receiving financial support.

How Recommendations Are Reviewed

Each recommendation will be reviewed for eligibility, financial need, potential impact, completeness and alignment with the Platte River SCI Chapter's mission and guiding principles. Submission of a recommendation does not guarantee funding, and all funding decisions are subject to review and final approval by the Platte River SCI Chapter's Board of Directors.

Some of the best opportunities to make a difference begin with our members. The Platte River SCI Chapter invites active members to recommend organizations, programs and projects that could benefit from our chapter's financial support.

Our goal is to support and invest in opportunities that advance our mission to protect the freedom to hunt and promote wildlife conservation in Nebraska. These opportunities create a meaning, lasting impact for Nebraska's hunters, wildlife, conservation efforts and future generations.

What We Support

Funding recommendations should demonstrate a clear connection to our mission and align with at least one of Platte River SCI Chapter's guiding principles: legislative advocacy, public education, recruitment and access, ethical hunting.

Potential opportunities include:

youth hunting and shooting sports programs
wildlife conservation and habitat projects
hunter education and safety initiatives
hunter recruitment, retention and access programs
shooting range improvements
public education and community outreach
school and youth programs
legislative and policy education
equipment and program needs
sponsoship opportunities
other mission-aligned projects and initiatives

Platte River SCI Chapter is led by a volunteer Board of Directors. Our organization is 100% funded through memberships and donations. Please consider a financial contribution today to help us achieve our mission and support conservation, hunter education, public outreach, legislative advocacy, hunter access, shooting sports and the next generation of Nebraska hunters.
